Those old beauties would have been very thirsty! And they used "Super" petrol, not the "standard" which we now call unleaded.

looks to me like there is an a frame/ drawbar just beind the second set of wheels, I reckon its an early truck with caravan

There's something odd about that photo! When the photo is enlarged the van section doesn't seem to fit squarely onto the vehicle. On the far side the van sits above the car whereas on the closer side it's almost level plus 1 or 2 other things do not look right. Cheers :)
