I did see it advertised somewhere, not sure where now. Didn't know it was Grey Nomads though. They just said Lots of caravans. Unfortunately we are not getting Current Affair at the moment because of the games, unless someone knows of it being on another channel. I did find Today Tonight on 72 last night. First time I've seen it in months.
ACA runs for 20 minutes a night now on CH 9 whilst the games are on. The show I believe is using 'greynomads' generically. The guts of it is (and it sounds just another beatup), that GREYNOMADS are all out SKI-ing (spending the kids inheritance) and are buying 'luxury' motorhomes worth big bucks and having a ball in their twilight years and letting the kids fend for themselves.
Ho hum, another replay we've heard it all before. (and it's bullsh*t)
Sounds like the usual stuff being told again and again. Nothing new. We are in the country WizardofOz so not getting ACA at all while the games are on. Usually get them at 7pm. For some reason we don't get TT on Ch 7 at all, at the begiining of my move here we were getting it at 4.30pm but that stopped.
You should get it on Nines digital chanel, GEM (chanel 80 + 90) if you are able to receive those chanels. Chanel nine is broadcasting the Rugby League on GEM during the games as well.
Yes we get all those channels, just checked the program, No we are not gettting it on there but will be getting TT on 72 at 7pm. No ACA on 9, Gem or Go.
Can't always go by the printed programmes Marj. I'm getting it right now, on Channel 9. Aca is not mentioned in my programme either, but I'm watching the Grey Nomad segment as I type.
Checked all the channels, no sign of it. The program was the guide on the TV when I press the little button Sheba. What I have been getting for the last 20 minutes is Win Qld with local adverts from Gympie and Maryborough. Hope it was interesting on ACA.
yes but that one was not aussies traveling was the high end USA ones, ch9 had some big ones and talked about majestic who I think do the fit outs and caravans as well..........

I hope that big orange thingy comes along if I ever break down, as I will be able to fit my entire rig inside, where he parks his 4wd etc.
The owner states it costs him $5000 a year, I think that would just be the cost for the cleaner to come thru once a week.
If you think that this Motorhome is just what you have been looking for here is the link for you to watch, get your order in soon and beat the rush, before they are all gone
Love the fact that she said that they wanted to be fully self sufficient as they didn't want to stay in caravan parks but wherever they wanted to As long as it was 5 star I think she means. I cannot see either of them camping out in the scrub at all. The interview was nothing like I was expecting at all very disappointing.
Have just seen the clip of the "super" motor home - what an ostentatious piece of work that is - where would he be able to park it? Would find it hard to fit into most caravan parks, and a lot of free camps as well - as for some of the other ones shown - well - more ostentation really!!!! Give me the Starship any day!!!!

Totally agree Jules. . . .give me my little 24 foot 10 year old Jayco anytime. I am in love with it hehehe. That was showing you lifestyles of the rich and that was it, waste of viewing time.
Typical yank all the toys and claims he is doing it rough as usual way over the top.
Would have to agree with you AT. . . way over the top for sure. It makes me sick. ACA need to show the real Grey Nomads and how they travel and camp it would be far more interesting than showing RV's that are out of most peoples price range only.
