Get a boosted aerial. I got mine on ebay for $30. It worked well at Inskip Pt, last time I was down there. I now have VAST, also. Will try it out in Oct. Bill

I know how you feel Jimbo. I haven't worked out how to get a signal at all with my TV, so have gone without it up till now. Will have to keep working on it somehow.

I bought a new TV a couple of weeks ago, and made sure it was a 240/12 so if I wanted to, I could take it away in the van. Sisters hubby reckons it'll chew too much power, but I'd like to give it a go. If it draws too much, I won't bother again.

You've got solar panels Beth, so shouldn't be too much of a problem.

We were in Rainbow beach recently and on our van we have a boosted Wineguard with the tail extension and got reasonable reception on most channels but we have also found channel 10 a bit suspect in most of QLD.
