Don't worry Billeeeeeee, we're both trying to get out there as soon as possible.
Just had our intrepid traveller Yeoeleven, also known as John over to visit. We fed the wallabys, and had a bit of siteseeing, plus morning tea. all in all , he's a nice bloke and I hope I am still nomading about when i'm 75, like him.Come back soon, Bill
Couldn't agree more about Yeoeleven - he is a shining example of what positivity can do for you!! He is great company, if you get the chance to meet him - do it - he is a lovely man! And John, we don't have your head light!!! May Sue or Stan took it - I know Sue liked it!!!!

Hey Billeeee, how's things me old mate? I follow your adventures on here and you will love Tassie. I only had a few weeks there but loved it and will get back there one day soon.
Make sure you visit the pub in the paddock, they have free camping there for self contained motorhomes. Also mayfield beach on the east coast is sensational. So many wonderful places and people over there.
Stay happy and give me a call when your back down Geelong way.

Billee your 5 month sojourn to the green isle is enough to turn us green with envy..........I dont know how you do it!
Can't wait to go to Tassy - I have been before, but only for three weeks - the biggest outlay is cost of getting the Starship over - and even that was pretty reasonable, it all goes on length - so if you are car and van - two lengths added = big bucks! But the motorhom is 7.5m which comes within their range up to 8.1m.
Should see it all in five months I reckon.

Hi Jules and Billeeeeeee...5 months in Tassie...Wow!!! You should certainly get to see it all.
I was there for 5 weeks in 2010 and had a great time. Everywhere that you go, the scenery is amazing! Also...there are so many quaint and pretty little towns to explore.
For me...two of the standout places were: Port Arthur...and The Bay of Fires. Both very different...but each of them wonderful in their own way.
BTW...I do know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. My (then) travelling companion thought that the Bay Of Fires was "just a bunch of rocks at the back of nowhere".
Howdyeee all U excited ppl ,Can I give a plug here for a little town with the best free camp I have been in for quiet some time, by a river, toilets and free Hot!!! showers,,can it get any better than that , U betcha it can ,fish in the river, nice walks up the river, plenty of wild life, and shady, and grass too, its Bollon, a very exciting town,,,, We r heading on to Nindigully pub tomorrow, We r meeting up with a Legend,,,,,,Cruising Granny......Im soooooooo excited,,,Had to trim the Hairs in My nose, and ears today smell a bit like Tuna, will b having a shower first thing in the morning,,,,have to make sure My fly is done up , stay excited ppl ,,,,,Billeeeee
