I tow my 19' Crusader van with my Hilux and couldn't be happier.  I wanted a semi-offroad van so I had it built from the ground up.  Because I seldom go anywhere where there's power to plug an air/con in, I decided not to have one and instead put the $2,000 into other additions.  A 6" chassis, light truck tyres, 4" risers on the suspension, additional checkerplate, an anderson plug, reversing camera, etc., etc.  I've been on many rough roads and even done the Darling River Run in it.  No problems whatsover during the 4 years that I have owned it.
