Gday...

I went down that road last year, about end November. Not a problem. Sealed all the way, a bit narrow at times but only a problem if a truck catches up or approaches.

I just pull over completely and stop until they pass - and I have a CB and let them know I am doing that. They were very appreciative and I reduce any chance of a problem

cheers - John

Earlier this year we were intending to use that road, but we were told thered been flooding in that area and the road was pot-holed etc. Also told that accommodation in caravan parks was very difficult due to the relief workers.. Check with the local people (police or visitors centre) about the latest road info Robkim.

I went 10km down that road last week and decided it was too narrow and the seal edges were very sharp and broken so went back up and through Roma to St George. Lovely drive and the road is pretty good that way. There was also a lot of smoke as there was a fire near the other road.
