I thave spent 3 Nights in good old Tiaro Qld and sampled the pub and Butcher shop....Hate to Leave Tomorroe Bye /passing Maryborough and going onto Childers to check out the area...Always liked Childers.....Then on to the Apple .Creek rest spot spend some time there and explore

I drove into apple Jack Creek and it said No camping..So I pulled up and headed off too Gin Gin and find that this is a 20 hrs stop only or $1500 fines can apply.....Whats going on with these councils....Some one here says that the bloke up the road C/P park has been driving the council bonkers trying to stop us.......Somewhere near a Dam Nth of here

Jimbo, you got that wrong. There is always a row of campervans and caravans at Apple Tree Creek. I've stayed there myself not long ago. I haven't stayed or been to Gin Gin but jack mac should be able to say if that is right. Have friends who have stayed there though.

Thats ok Jimbo. I'm off into Bundy tomorrow, thought I would camp there the night on the way through and have a good old chinwag with you. Never mind, I will go straight through to Bundy and stay a night or two in there.
Had a couple of Home made Beers at Jack mac's house in Gin Gin today and Met his dog (Friendly old Fella The dog)I t's always good to break the trip with a visit to a Home after being on the road for awhile Thanks Mac See you Before I leave

check out the memorial of the backpackers, sad but really well done. the twins that died were from Lake Grace in w.a. ask about the story of them all while you are there. also you have to check out the bird park just north of town, the reptile farm is aslo a muct and also a town called Sandgate i think it is called.directly east on the coast. qld's best kept secret.
