evening star caravan park

Is a couple of years since we stayed there. Was $24 a night then, but do not know current price. We thought it was a very good place to stay - had previously stayed several times at a CP in the town, but Evening Star definitely the choice from now on. All drive through sites, nicely separated by (young) garden beds. Reminded me a bit of Bedrock Village at Mount Surprise, when it was getting going, back in the late 90's.
Be aware, though, that it is about 7km out of the town.

Gday...

Put this site in your Favourites .... comes in handy. You can even lodge your own reports of van parks you visit for the information of others as well.

Hi David & Cheryl

Went through Charleville April / May, and although we stayed at the Bailey Bar (great place) all reports from other happy campers said the Evening Star was the Ants Pants. Hope that helps.

Cheers & beers

We stayed at the Bailey Bar CP two weeks ago - the staff were wonderful, showing you to your site, even helping with backing if required. Will check out Evening Star if in the area again. As for pricing - this is "the season" so prices differ sometimes to the book price.

Evening Star has glowing reports on Badgers site (Australian Caravan Park Reports). No negative comments.
Sounds great.
