Im heading for yelgum to o/n tonight, anyone else likely to be there? South of Chinderah. Have not stayed there before but on my way to Coffs and want to break the journey. Hope to catch up with some nomads along the way.

I've stayed there quite a few times. Good spot and well off the highway. A bit of a carpark with a patch of grass with tables, a playground and I think an electric barbeque. Toilets good and typical of rest areas. It's popular and well used.
Have overnighted here several times, the worst you will get are sometimes noisy wicked campers or refridgerated trucks. There is also a great ocean beach close by.
