My sister has one of these in their caravan. I used it myself last week, and found it great. You'll get them at a Caravan supply shop too, but may pay a lot more. Suggest you shop around.
Look on Ebay first. I saw some for less than $60. My neighbor brought one. It's perfect. I brought mine nearly 2 yrs ago $135.00 - bugger!mine takes 3kg wash at a time.

We are looking at buying one of these. From what I have read of peoples comments that have one they all say that there really great. We just have to sort out where we can get it delivered to as you can't just drop in and buy one over the counter.

That's true Brian. My sister bought hers from Harvey Norman but it had to be ordered up from Melbourne for them. These days, you can buy most things on ebay a whole lot cheaper.
we got 1 della used it heaps when the house one was getin fixed she was very happy with it but like all washing machines they use untold amounts of water
weve got that machine recently had a breakdown in our house one so i used it in the van was great we walked into joyce mayne told them we saw them cheaper on the net so they did us a deal.
Graeme, while were at Jondaryan, brother-in-law was pumping water from the creek for washing, showering etc. That was the way to go! And it was quite clean too.
We have one in our van it holds 2kls and is great,we even use it when in c/parks, will soon pay for it self as machine in c/p cost $5 per wash & $5 per dryer...Good investment..
i have one of these also purchased from ebay delivered to melb from sydney for 77.00 dollars lovr it and can move it around byself love it and highly recommend been using for 2 yrs now no problem retiree
Be careful using creek water, that it doesnt go back into the creek all sudsy when you are finished! Bad for the fishies.
Oh no, Rosie, he's very conscious of that. We were both 'watering' a crack in the ground, a good way back from the creek. And there were plenty of cracks to choose from too.
I have the 2kg twin tub & love it. Got mine for $109 plus about $25 online from Sydney & delivered in 4 days. I use the miracle wash balls in mine ( as well as at home) so do not have to worry about soap suds or expensive detergents.
we have a 2kg automatic machine. beats sitting there waiting for it to finish. They are about $600 though cheers blaze. ps what I would like is a dishwasher, lazy I know but if you are gunna be, it needs doing right

Hi All,
I am looking to buy 12 or 24 volt washing machine & microwave convention oven to put into our motorhome, for our travel around Australia. Does any one know where to buy this kind solar gear for motorhome. Let know so I don't have to keep looking forever on the internet. Cheers
