Winging it !! .. as Biggles ..

Hi folks ..

Well .. It seems  my new interest in flying a RC motorised glider has now become somewhat of a priority to me and as a few had asked me about it, I thought I would post some details here  .. I now try to fly whenever I find a nice spot .. I learnt to fly on this recent visit to Mareeba and have flown at various locations since. To claim (a personal standard) as having flown somewhere, I must do at least (2) flights so that there can be no doubt .. (ps .. a crash can still be classed as a flight, however abrupt it might be) .. hehe

Since leaving Mareeba .. I flew at Lake Elphinstone on just one of the (2) days I was there and the second flight ended up on a barb wire fence  .. at least (3) times a day during the week I stayed at Theresa Creek Dam which was an excellent spot taking off on the roadway in .. and now that I'm back for a short while at Bingara on the Gwydir in NSW, I flew again today .. kinda tricky here as one has to take off over the river and glide back in to land in the same manner and land between the vehicles .. but its all good !

Shucks !! .. I wonder what I'll do when Igrow up !

Jon

Very nice Jon. Enjoy your new hobby, everyone needs a good hobby. It has a good sized wing span I see.
