Can't access the forums

Not sure if anyone can help but, for the last 2 days I have been unable to access the forum pages on this site. I'm using Hylda's computer at the moment which doesn't seem to have the problem.

I have a Macbook Pro and I have tried using Firefox and also the Safari web browsers but the pages refuse to load in either. The other pages of the Grey Nomads site load fine, just not the forum ones.

I tried clearing the cookies and history and rebooting and even tried changing the DNS settings as one googled help page suggested but to no avail.

I think the problem may be that I can't access the forum host site 'activeboard.com' for some reason

I'm missing my daily forum hit so any help would be appreciated.

I wonder if your firewall settings have changed?? Im a long way away from being any sort of computer geek but for interest sake try turning off your security for just a few minutes and then log into the forum.

try going in from the main site?? dont know if that would help

You could try

 to find the area to make sure you are accepting cookies on a Mac would be under the Firefox menu > Preferences > Privacy and then make sure you choose from the drop down: "Use Custom Settings for History". You will then be able to make sure you are accepting cookies.

Can you do a "Restore" ?  Sometimes people forget about this option.

I had a glitch on the iPhone where I couldn't open up the forum. When I updated to ios5 the forum worked again so maybe you need to do some sort of update.
