Looks very much like a "teardrop", which I believe is sold in Australia, not sure who manufactures them though, you could try googling "teardrop" caravans, bound to come up with something
I saw something that small tied to a fence here with a for sale sign on it. Didn't go up to have a look as was in a hurry but it looked like a small camper.
Often see them on the back of cars heading off to Rockabilly type gatherings - very "retro" - my late father in law used to make his own caravans - very much like this one, only bigger - would use them for a while and then sell them on. Have a book that has the patterns for the caravans in them.

Saw a similiar one at Edithburgh, SA, last April. The fellow makes and sells them at around $10,000 each. The one I saw was very well made. It was constructed of marine ply, claded with aluminum sheeting. It had a double bed and camping gear for cooking etc. Basic, but it provided the essencial equipment to travel for short durations. Options were available.
