What is it with the doof doof?

I've been looking at small second hand vans (still hunting a for Avan Weekender at the right price) admittedly most are owned by younger people with a growing family, that have what I call a Bunnings fit out, cheap retreads, out of rego, most of the appliances have been replaced with cheap domestic 240 volt only units, because the proper units were to expensive...

But have a sound system that would cause birds to fall from the sky, whales to beach themselves, followed by an 8.2 seismic event and require a nuclear power station....

Slight exaggeration on the power requirements but you get my drift.

Its great fun camping beside such people (NOT!) In fact you need to be a very Loooong distance away... maybe thats why they do it?

I am convinced it is to do with the food they eat and the fact that low frequency sound causes movement of said food in the lower areas because of the nature of the food that they eat!  It certainly literally gives it to me!

Last time we camped on the banks of the Murchison River near Kalbarri WA I took my old JVC ghetto blaster with me. We had concert audio levels of Susan Boyle and John Williamson echoing off the far river bank!!!

The young ones next door didn't complain !!!
