Tomorrow it's back to Shute Harbour and the Coaster for the trip home South....First stop will be Bakers creek rear of the pub 6km just after Mackay...Great over night stop Then St lawrence, Yambaa. Then people's I'll' be asking for Info on Mt Morgan and Banana for Camping.....So Please friends get your thinking caps on when I reach Rockhamton Qld.For the trip along the Leichhardt H/way in a few days

Jimbo, can't help you with the Leichhardt until Goondiwindi but depending on how far south you are going the runs I described on Beths Lake Cargelligo & Brewarrina posts are well worth a look.

Oldboar! The sites you suggested are a litttle out of my way I'm Heading dorect to Tocomwal then home to Bacchus marsh...I was Mainly thing of Mt Morgan and Banana I know Gelob Weir is a great rest stop and Theodore which I will stay a couple of days

Do you have any info on Gelob Weir as it is not found on the internet and is not in the latest camps 6 book. I keep a list of the forum recommended sites so I can use later if needed. I like to add the recommended sites nd then find the gps co-ordinates and then add them to a file I add to my GPS.
I dont see a search option on this forum to look for info if it has been mentioned before.
