I recently stayed there a couple of days after checking out the CP which has been taken over by mining interests......if you are lucky there might be a spot there at $40pn..seems the good folk who help with the Tourist Info Centre got to work and have now opened the SG as a low cost alternative at $14pn with power, water & facilities, not that flash but ok & clean.

So well done to them !!

Have found the people at tourist info centre very friendly and like calling in there, nice small town good IGA would look at stoping there next time we are in the area

Boy - the price sure has gone up. I was there at the CP ( owned by a roading company now) about 8 weeks ago and only paid $27. Lovely new laundry and ablution block, plus free TV to hook in to.
