Batemans Bay to Eden

Soon we are heading off from Batemans Bay to Eden.
We are thinking of taking the coast road (not Princes Hwy), turning off the highway after Tilba and going through Bermagui, Tathra, Merimbula & Pambula to Eden.
With the caravan at 2.6t & 28 foot long (overall), is this route suitable?
Other plan would be to go straight to Eden via highway, leave the 'van in a Cpark, then spend a day backtrack tour.

Its a while since we were on that road leevin, but it used to be a good road except for the dirt section between Bermagui and Tathra. Beautiful places along there, but you might need to check locally about the road if it rained there over the last couple of days as it did further north.

Leevin, we did the Bermagui to Tathra section a few weeks ago but our van is only 14.5ft. It is sealed all the way now and my hubby says, just take it carefully and you'll have no problems. There are a few low speed bends - just take care. The section from Tathra to Merimbula is also sealed all the way and is OK. From there through Pambula to Eden is highway conditions. Take your time, enjoy the scenery. There are some beautiful spots along the way.

Thanks Gerty & Ruth.
We have decided to go via highway to Eden & base ouselves there for 4 or 5 nights.
We will leave the 'van in CP and explore from Bermagui to Eden.
