Terramungamine Reserve 10kms north of Dubbo

Arrived at Terramungamine Reserve around mid day after driving 210kms from Mullaley via Coonabarabran and Gilgandra, lovely undulating grassy country away from the Great Dividing Range with warmer temperatures.
I am expecting to meet Frank from http://frankeeg.wordpress.com/ Frank & Donnis Travel Blog. Frank left a comment on my blog saying that they were in their way north and we could meetup.
This is a small but nice reserve with parking for larger rigs if you got there early enough, it is only overnight so there should be plenty of space mid day.
The Camps6 #933 reference advises to turn into Burroway Road but I couldn't see any signs, the correct turn off is the one signed to Terramungamine adjacent to a 9kms sign to Dubbo.          John

It was 3 days camping when we left on our trip June 2012 but on the return it was only one day
Not sure if it was council or our brothers that had it reduced

Hi John,
if you haven't found them already, about 50mtrs from from where your parked you will find the grinding grooves in a rock near the water. Used by the local aboriginals to sharpen their tools and weapons.
Have fun, enjoy following your blog.

Lovely place, that's just been changed to overnight unfortunately. Thanks for the pictures John, I was wondering what that spot was like.

Gday...

Not a bad spot for an overnighter - I posted a report on this one in the Free/budget camps sub-forum - here's the link for interest

Gee John I had to look at that first photo a second time, when I first looked at it, it looked like a croc belly up.
