Well we travelled the long distance from Gulargambone and arrived relatively early at Mendooran camp, it seems a nice place, grass has been cut but like everywhere very dry. There would be including us ten vans, a hot day so some of the vans are running generators. I have run across another chap, ex-army Bob he managed to do 3 tours (regular army) to Vietnam so no doubt we will be bringing long memories to life tonight and I will be sorry tomorrow for a little while. We will probably stay here for a couple days then start making our way into the hunter valley and down into Newcastle. Well thats about all from us, take care out there everyone.
