Slaty Creek Campground

This will be my third night at Slaty Creek just out of Creswick Victoria (Camps 5 - 524).  Only intended to stay one night, but such a pretty spot decided to stay a bit longer.  Camped next to a lovely shallow stream and there are walking tracks for people who are feeling energetic.  3km of dirt road, but worth it.  It is also dog friendly.

I agree. We stayed there in october and thought it was great. Nice clean water in the creek too.

I know this is an old post, but I went there yesterday (Sun 29th of Sept) for my eldest son's birthday. First time I've been there in decades and was really impressed. Nice toilet block and just $10 a night.

Well worth a look.
