Saw one working at the CV show last week. Seemed to work OK, but they are rather small and quite expensive. I think they were about the same price as a large house model.
I worked in the evaporative cooler manufacturing industry for 25 years. My advise is don't waste your money on that product unless you intend to use it exactly as depicted in the photo.
Hmmmmm.....thanks for the feedback msg and Peter, sound like you would need to be right in front of it all the time Peter, thanks for the head up (or is that thumbs down) on this type of cooling......
If it is like the normal household model it would only work in a dry hot environment, not a coastal humid area. We used them in central Qld for years and were good, but this one seems to very small...and expensive! You may have to look at an ordinary fan which would be more cost effective.
At the Jayco stand at the Perth Caravan and Camping show they have these large fans that have water mist sprayed in front of them for the public, a welcome relief on hot days! I'll have to get myself a spray bottle!!
