RE: My new 12 month plan.

Thanks for all your advice and comments, we went to Wodonga and looked at the Coaster. As usual it sounded better on the phone and in the advert but in life looking at it there were signs of rust just like on mine but patched up, the paint was done fairly carelessly and outside it would have been jumping into the fire from the frying pan if I bought it.

It did have 11 months rego still running and the motor seemed good with an exhaust rattle, we ran it on petrol then gas and it performed well.

Inside it looked good but had no cooking facilities, no gas installed. Also it was well set up for caravan parks but not for my lifestyle, a 240volt fridge, airconditioner and microwave all next to useless for me unless the genny was running continuously.

No bid from me will be forthcoming but I will watch the result of the auction, I am pleased to have had the chance to inspect a coaster but am coming to the conclusion that I will have to save up much more to be able to buy a later model.

John

Keep looking , John. One that you like will turn up. All it takes is a bit of patience, something a guy your age and experience should have a lot of. See you soon, Bill.

No worries Bill, I don't make 12 month plans lightly, that was the first of many coasters that I will inspect.

Look forward to meeting up again but next time in my new coaster.

John

Bad luck John.  Still you have to have a look.  The one you pass up may be the one you're looking for.  Enjoy the Tassie trip and there will be one there for you when you get back and have saved up a few more bickies. As you say it's part of a 12 month plan.

Cheers,

Jack

I'm sorry it wasn't more suitable John. I really admire that you are a doer, not a dreamer or a gunna like me. You plan and do it. I'm sure you will find the bus for you.

There have been a few on the market lately which are set up more for your lifestyle [ie freecamping,] for around the $8,000 mark John.    Talked to Richard.  See PM.

Cheers,

Sheba.

Never mind John, as they say there are plenty of fish in the sea.

As per my previous post, do these early models have power steering???????
