My apologies to John (yeoeleven) and Doug (Dougwe) for talking their ears off this morning. I think they would have been glad to have moved on after our coffee at Gloria Jeans and see the back of me. So long since I've been able to sit down and chat to Grey Nomads, didn't realise just how much I was missing the company. See you all on Wednesday.
Heading to Greens on Tuesday for a few nights , save me a good site Ken
You are back Ken? I was coming along the Hume last Wednesday through the Glenrohan area and saw you with CV in tow heading North, I called you on the UHF, 40, 18 & 22 but no reply.

It was great to spend some time with John "yeoeleven" while going to Echuca yesterday, great day had by both of us and we got everything we wanted to get as well, John can have a shower now. Me, I will stick to the sponge bath (by me). I thought I'd better say that bit.
Gee just noticed the wind has picked up and there are waves out on the lake. John can go surfing now to add to his experience of the Jet Ski ride.

As Doug said it was a pleasure to catch up again, the highlight of the morning.
I thought I was gabby on the forum but 4 posts in a row from Doug makes me realize that I hve a long way to go

Going for the second post in a row.
Yesterday my hot water on demand from Coleman failed to work when I was in the shower tent and ready for it so I had to be satisfied with a cold wash down.
Checked out another gas bottle and still no result, pulled out the battery to find it was fully charged, bought another small cylinder in case it was fussy about the connection. When all else fails read the instructions especially the one that says ensure that the pump is connected. So as Doug said I can now have a hot shower but making it work was the aim not the hot shower, I ended up swimming in the lake instead.
Dick my friend with the jet ski has now left the area heading for Townsville, I won't be there for months so probably have had my last ride, pity I enjoyed the experience.
Our numbers at Greens Lake have increased with Ken (Dunwurkun) and his wife lyn arriving, Marj (happy wanderer) has arrived at last after being ill over the past days.
As Doug has reported on the General Forum we had an early Xmas Party last night complete with crackers and the compulsory paper hats. He has covered the subject very well in his post so I will leave it at that but thanks to all for a memorable evening.
Oh Marj I bet they loved it, they have been short of company recently...
Hi Judy, that mess around your CV would not be tollerated here at Greens Lake.
Think of all the fun we could have there would be enough toys in the playground for everyone...but yes we would have to pack up at night like all good kiddies.....
