Just wondering how others are set-up for free camping? We have a generator which we power up but can the machine be used with a Solar power with batteries ? If using battery power is a contant pressure given to the user for all night?
Fellow we know has a 12volt one, works well for him - and a lot of truckies use the 12v ones as well. Neighbours may not like you using the genny all night.

Welcome Yabbie. I have heard they work from solar power battery OK. They don't draw much. My husband uses it as an excuse not to use his when we freecamp. Pity. He decides to do this because we only have a generator and wouldn't use it all night.
I'm not 100% sure but I wouldn't think so. By the way, it's called a CPAP machine. Just found this information on the Resmed site
"If no AC power is available, your device can operate with DC power and an appropriate inverter. With the use of a suitable inverter, your PAP device can operate from a battery supply (e.g. in a truck or recreational vehicle).
The inverter should be capable of supplying appropriate voltage and should be of sufficient capacity. If you do not have a humidifier attached, you will need an inverter with a continuous power rating of 150W. If you are using a HumidAire H2i or H3i humidifier with your PAP device, you will need an inverter with a continuous power rating of 200W, pure sine wave. Please note that you will require a spare battery. Use of the primary battery that operates your vehicle may drain the battery. Choose a deep cycle battery (used in 4WD vehicles and boats), as these are better suited to frequent discharge.
Your equipment provider can assist in your choice of a suitable inverter for your flow generator."
I have a Resmed S9 and it has a 12v lead for it. Check where you got yours originally and see if you can get the 12v lead. It is a lot easier than running off an inverter.
The R9 I ran of a 300w pure sinewave inverta in my camper (110 AH battery and 40W solar) and never had an issue in a 5 month trip around the block. If however you want to use a humidifier thats another story.. they can draw big amps..
I find if I have a glass of water handy for the morning the dry mouth is soon cured and leave the humdifier at home.
I never found any issues with the pressure when camped and running off the batteries.
