Left Burnie and set off to florinhill forum member Bob and wife Rhondas farm at Yolla where we were made most welcome especially the warm fire after the cold weather and in the van. Spent the afternoon talking about the lifestyle on the road and other farm matters we were  then invited to dinner and accepted very promptly, havent had a meal like that in months even took a photo to remember the event by.

Bob suggested that we may like to take an early morning walk around the property through the trees and down to the lake following the tractor tracks. I took him up on the offer but was unable to open the child proof gate but succeeded in climbing over without falling on to the electric fence. I was climbing back when Bob arrived on his ride on slasher, he was surprised to see half over and showed me how to open it correctly. The photo opportunity was missed as I inelegantly clambered over, good job Billeee was still in bed.

The second day passed peacefully enough, it was cold and windy so the fishing was put off and the day was spent keeping warm with the big fire on all day.
The evening livened up however when Bob & Rhonda's friends arrived they had been invited for dinner and another scrumptious spread was laid out. They are involved with the Peacefest which we intend to attend late February.                                     http://www.peacefestwynyard.com/
It was an interesting evening, Ron & Cheryl arrived in a purple kombi decked out as a camper and painted similar to mine but professionally done. We all had much in common and enjoyed the food, drink and conversation.
A couple of days spent at Florinhill in Bob & Rhonda's company was a very interesting part of the Tasmanian experience.     John
