And in my view, if one ONLY hangs out in solos, one miss's out on a wealth of knowledge and assistance.

Unless, of course, one knows it all already, then I guess it doesn't matter! biggrin

I hang about on the solo's mostly when travelling because internet coverage is often very slow and all I have time for is to post to the blog and forum but now whilst I am in one spot for a couple of weeks with good coverage I tend to move about a bit more. In fact yesterday I posted twice on the general forum, so it is a time thing with me.

John

Shogun's thread seems to have been hi jacked and I have contributed to it.

I can understand that John. While I was on the road, I didn't get much time/coverage for lots of roaming around the threads. And the dig wasn't aimed at you. wink  I've never met Shogun, but I suspect he won't mind the hijack.

Hi John, I don't mind you and everyone else high jacking it :)

I am just surprised at how my little post about being excited hitting the road again, this time with my fiancé, has caused angst in some if I post in the solos....oh well.

Does having a dog travelling with you also disqualify you from posting in here, as you are technically not solo travelling...just a thought I had :)

Anyway back to the original thread of this post, today I went and saw the new beast that I am ordering in march/April and I love it :)

We have decided on the new 28' Jayco Optimum which is on the Iveco chassis.

It is amazing what they can fit Into these motor homes today. Deb is very happy...not....that it has a washing machine. I am very happy it has a satellite dish :)

Anyway, I hope you all have a wonderful and safe Christmas and New Year and look forward to seeing you out there in this beautiful country of ours :)

Brett

I finally have figured out why she left the forumbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin  I miss so much when my internet is intermittent when at the parents.

By the way - it will be good to see you again Brett - and your new motorhome sounds rather luxurious - good luck and I hope to see you on the road again.

Cheers, Helen
