Took this shot from my phone and not until I looked on the computer was it noticable that a water frop was on the end of the long leafs of the giant lily. Taken in November 2012. The walk to the top was about two hours and it was cloudy and rainy at the top. The view was obscured but breathtaking.
Very nice shot allinone. Quite a walk to get it though. My hubby once took the kids to the top of Pigeon House Mtn in NSW and couldn't see for fog when they got there.
Mmmm Pigeon House Mtn not been there but just searched and will need to add this to the long list. Been too busy working lately and missed many big walks here is Tassie. Oh well will try again in 2016 when returning.
I did the Mt Warning climb back in the late 1970s early 1980s and it was so much easier then, even camped overnight in the small circle that was there then at the summit, was a full moon too. It turned me off the Gold Coast forever seeing the night lights from there.
But it is so much more catered for the casual walker today with info stops on the way. Although I heard it was closed at the moment from storms earlier this year.
Similarity with a bull, well we both consume grass fresh or liquid, never smoked!
