Struggle as I know I will over the next 2yrs I plan to take lots of photos of the things I have hung on to.  I have lots of pics of the plants I love and recently threw out all of my adult son's medal, trophies and stuff of his youth. But not before I took pics of them all and sent to him also...he thinks I am mad!!!!! maybe i am but they are my memories...

I didn't throw out all the trophies - I gave them to my sons to decide what to do. I gathered up all those 'treasures' and wrapped them up as a Christmas present one year - addressed to all the kids - and they had to decide who owned what. Great fun!

 I love that idea. I tried very hard to palm them off and he insisted he never wanted them and as he lives interstate would have cost me a fortune to send them. I did give some medals and trophies to the 4 and 5yr old in the family and they were so excited (not their parent's) so they can enjoy them on his behalf.
