Not nominated in any of the camping guides but St Leonards Picnic Area close to Launceston is very handy for visitors to Launceston.

Jules found out about it yesterday after talking to some locals visiting Lilydale. There is a dump point, free barbeque facilities and a toilet block. The camping is on the bitumen but there are plenty of shady grassed areas lounge in.

A real find because Jules & Billeee were going to go to a caravan park whilst I went on Evandale but we all have ended up here. So if you find the St Leonards Rd in St Leonards then take Station Rd down to the end and you will find the ground.    JohnLaunceston+026.JPG
