Is it time to hit the road?

Hi my name is Anthony and I have been looking at this site for a while. Thinking that it may be time to hit the road. Worked all my life and now just sold a business and maybe I should hit the highway and the dirtways.

Should I get a caravan or motorhome these are my choices. Each has their plus's and minus's.

I saw this today when I was searching. What are your thoughts? Anything extra I would need. Much appreciated.

Anthony.

I have had a motorhome and getting a new one soon. I liked it because I don't like towing but thats a personal choice.

The one you have linked to looks good, if it doesn't have solar then that may be a consideration.

I loved being on the road for the 6 months i was and am heading out again this year.

This site has lots of advice so ask as many questions as you can and learn from the experience of the people on this site. i did and it was a great help to me.

Enjoy the travel

Brett

Welcome Anthony, enjoy here and out in the playground. The Coaster is a good vehicle and very reliable , the one you show is a very nice looking vehicle in deed and very comfortable. The Price looks good too for what you are getting. Good luck with it all.

Looks very nice. We have one a bit similar.

It says car licence is ok to drive it. I think you should insist on seeing it put over a weighbridge before you fork out any money. Ours weighs in at 4.9 tonnes!

Also check out what sort of warranty is provided for the vehicle part. We were able to get a 2 year mechanical warranty on ours - similar age to yours.

After our first trip in the bus, decided that we needed to flat tow a small runabout vehicle behind the bus. Bought a Daihatsu Terios for that. Something else you may need to think about.
