Solo Steve Hits The Road

Well, at long last come Sunday 10th Feb I'm Off Like a Piece a Cheese! After months of planning, getting rid of everything that didn't fit in the Van, leaving my flat and

an unexpected new radiator and stater battery, the road will now be my fixed address. My first trip will be mainly NSW central west to Bourke and back with side trips to

Greens Lake (early March) and Lightning Ridge before FNQ for winter. The Van, a Toyota Hiace Commuter, has my Avatar and Forum stickers on front and back, so please

say gooday if you see me around. I really hope to meet as many GNs as I can.

See ya round like a rissole!

Steve, if you're around Gulgong area in the next three weeks give us a yell. After that we'll be on the track full time, who knows where, although first stop will probably be Burren bore baths.

Congratulations on getting on the road.

You wont regret it and remember take your time and smell the roses or anything else you see (forget the cow heaps though)

You will find that after a while you will slow down so remember you have the rest of your life and don't go past anything you want to see. If you find out you have missed something just back a bit GO BACK as it may be years before you pass that way again.

Get your own method of travel, some like to see the road go past and some like to spend days in a spot and walk around and see the bush and all the creatures that live there, Only you can decide what you wish to do.

The main thing to do is keep the vehicle serviced and in good condition and BE HAPPY and RELAX. Talk to as many people as you can to find all the tricks and also to make YOUR trip interesting.

Go get em!

Regards
Brian
