At East Yolla

Very relaxing at East Yolla. Went over to see cows today they just looked back at us :) Can see my old school from the farm, lovely spot here. My dog Millee loves watching the chooks walking around. Sunday going to take John to watch Kite flying Fesival at Devenport.

Yes Jules we had a good laugh at the images conjured up about Billee's kite flying adventures but all credit to him for trying.

We are having a good time here with all the creature comforts that we are unused to. On Thursday I did my long walk thing before Patty arrived, I set off to walk to the Yolla General Store/Post office to get the book that Sheba has sent but it hadn't arrived and I walked back the other way via East Yolla. Will drive there today hopefully the book will be there then and I will check the kms, we need provisions too.

So Sunday we are going to the kite flying fesival and that will be different, it is good having company for a few days.

John

Edited to add that I now have the book thanks Sheba and the walk was 17kms

We have left Bruny Island - Bob and Rhonda have headed to the National Park on Bruny - but we decided to come back to Hobart for a few days - Bruny Island is a lovely place - the most exciting thing was the Yellow Boat Ride - full speed, right next to cliffs - seals within touching distance - a great experience!! The long rain coats may keep the spray out, but not a good look - especially on a shorty like me!!

Would have loved to get back on board and done it all again - but a bit pricey to do so.

You're welcome John.  Glad it arrived OK.

Keep on enjoying yourself, and take care.

Cheers,

Sheba.

17k??????????????? That was better than our 15k walk - but I bet the scenery down at South East Cape was more spectacular -no cows for a start!!
