Denmark WA

I stayed there too Scotty on my recent trip, got a good deal for a one nighter.   I have also stayed at the River Bend cp, which is further inland but for your rig I think where you are is best.

Shelley Beach (near Cosy Corner) would not be a problem for your rig, tents on one side and campervans etc on the other (ocean side) in the car park, nice flat area.   short steep descent (bitumen) going down to it, ring the ranger if you are worried about whether your rig could get back down to it, there were several campervans and a fire truck there while I was there, your main concern would be having the grunt to get back up again (see rangers number shown on Camps description or check with Denmark Tourist Bureau).

Edit: just recalled I saw a MH like yours in the parking area at Shelley Beach, they didn't stay, had lunch and left, they had no trouble as far as I know.  In regards to Cosy Corner, there is an upper and lower level, the upper level area has no trees and even the lower level has a couple of spots where there is headroom, also the ring road on the lower level had several motorhomes camped along the side of it. Suggest go in a take a look, now school holidays are over it should be ok, also Shelley Beach, suggest avoid the weekend if possible but may not matter.  Cosy Corner also has a fresh water stream going out to the ocean.  At West Cosy Corner (only day area) there are nicer toilets and also an outside beach shower near the verandah.  Only a short walk from the camping area at East Cosy Corner along the beach.  Good internet/mobile phone access (well Telstra/Bigpond) at West Cosy Corner, and the upper level of East Cosy Corner.  None at Shelley Beach, even up on the lookout.

There is a fresh water stream coming out onto the beach area where nice clean water can be collected for cooking/washing up/drinking if boiled etc, also a small home made bathing basin, nice to wash to salt off after an ocean swim etc.

One long drop toilet on site (unisex).

If you're heading for Esperance after Albany, there is a roomy free camp at Pallin River and also Munglinup Roadhouse (showers for a $2 donation to Fire Brigade) both in Camps Book.

In CP at river mouth. River on one side ocean (well inlet) on the other and NO WIND! Nice place, would rather be free camping but both places I stopped on the way here were full, Cosy Corner and Parry Beach, Parry Beach has a height problem for me 2.8m max I am just over 3m. Think I will stick around here till end of the week and study up on where to go next, Will try posting some pics soon.
