Hi HW,
Not a problem getting there at the moment its still dry out there. Its the FLYS in March that will drive me mad lol. Its a long lonely road and I thought maybe there is someone on the way to have a cuppa with. Will have to make a fly net for Molly.

Was going to go south but this opportunity came up. Anyway, any nice spots near rivers here are likely to be boggy. Its rained a lot here too.

Must be raining everywhere else but there Mel. Might be a bit early for anyone to be heading north, you never know though.

Hi Doug,

Meeting sis 14/3/13 in Quilpie so dates are fairly set.

I still thinking about whether I will go as she will only be there for a week and I am wondering if its worth travelling 1500kms to visit.

She is coming down from Brisbane to stay with me in April anyway for a few weeks when her new grandchild is due.

I just love the Quilpie area and have wanted to go back for some time, so its tempting.

Will be heading north to Cairns and whereever as soon as the baby excitement is over. Maybe I will catch up with you then.

Mel

Marg,
Did you put the moz on me? Its going to rain out there all this week.
While its bitumin all the way, the last 3 or 400 ks is single width. Difficult to get off the road for road trains. (and there are lots of them) Then I have about 30ks to go in the dirt/bulldust.
Don't have to decide until about Friday so will see.
I'm all set so won't need much time to pack.
