The Big Loop-Finally!

A qwik ferry ride to Melbourne (Monday 0900) and I'm on my way again.  FINALLY able to escape kids & grandkids to fulfill my plan to do The Big Loop.  I'll follow the Great Ocean Road, then visit the Flinders Range and generally work things out as I go along.  I do want to see the southern part of WA so will spend some time there.  Then up, across and planning as I go.  I didn't quite get it all my own way tho, as there is a family Christmas get-together in Brisbane this year.  Hoping to meet up with Grey Nomads along the way!

Have a great trip Anton - John has gone ont he ferry today - it was like a parade watching them all leave this morning from John St Reserve - about 20 in all here overnight - not a bad little earner at $10 a pop - and it will probably happen again tonight. We only came to say bye to John - leave next Friday night!

Hope to meet you on the road - take care.

Thanks Jules, I tried booking for today but it was full so I missed hearing of John's adventures in Tassie - for the moment.  Enjoy your remaining days in Tasmania, hope to catch up with you and Billeee somewhere on the track!
