BIGv vans?

Anybody got an opinion? We have a little 17ft van and its great but it has no shower and toilet. His majesty is 6ft4in and I'm 5ft11 and we have 2 small dogs. He wants to get a jayco sterling 25ft and I think it's a bit large. I'd like opinions on the van if anybody who has one would care to comment. We like van parks and free camping but we're not much for tv and indoors stuff. Thanks folks. Wendy

Hi Wendy
I have just stepped up to a bigger van,we had a 16.5 ft Jayco freedom pop top ,we traded it on a 21.5 ft Jayco Westport with shower and toilet full roof ,the extra room is great,it will proberly cost me more fuel to tow but we have what we want,I say go for it providing your car can tow it legally.

Hi,
We have gone to a 23'10" Jayco Sterling with slide-out and really appreciate the extra room, as we like to spend several months at a time in our van, it is nice to be able to spread out a little. The little bit extra spent on fuel and we are talking very small amounts is certainly compensated by the extra space.

I also agree go for it so long as your vehicle can pull it.

We started out buying a little 16ft van with 3 kids and us...we had no storage so every time we bought something we dumped it on the beds, then had to dump it on the floor at night. It was like living in a box...no room at all.

We now have a 19ft 6" van and it will soon be only the two of us ***where's the party throwing smiley*** it is full of storage space and I love it.
