My van in Gunnedah

I have a van that is currently at my son's in NSW.  I will collect at the end of Sept after a trip to USA with family.  He has taken it away this weekend on it's maiden run.  Everything has worked as it should, shower, toilet, heating, lights, drove like a dream.

Looks like a nice set-up, glad it all worked out well.

You will have a lot of happy travel in your new rig.

Not really patient it just has to be as I am still working full time and no one will be here to keep an eye on while I am away, so just for the best...

Vic....I intend to be as comfortable as I can on a limited budget and income, as long as I can sleep and eat and have a shower / toilet, still to be added, solar panel and UHF radio and Vast tv system I think that will do me smilesmile

I have not used it yet as it was purchased in NSW near where my son lives, I am in Melbourne, so it has been at his place.   I will collect it later this year after a holiday to USA.  I wsill ask him if he used it this weekend, I think he has had the heater on so I will check.

Thanks Judy,

Watch the height with them, I heard of someone who borrowed his bosses motorhome for his holidays and drove it under a drive through bottle shop, took the aircon and part of the roof clean off!

Mine is too high anyway for most drive throughs and some low carpark roofs, so I guess there will be no drive through Macca's or Hungry Jack's....    Love your new avatar, the imagination and talents of some people with their conversions are amazing...smile

Thanks Vic I have thought about that and I plan to try and just be aware of my limits not a really avid drive through person so if I just avoid them alltogether I hope I will be ok.....smile

No worries Judy, you strike me as being a pretty switched on person, unfortunately I am a little like the bloke in my avatar, will eat practically anything, will just have to learn to "walk in" not "drive through" wink smile
