Meanwhile, a few Km down the road...

Kalgoorlie is where I am at the moment.  Since I left Tassie to do The Big Loop on 4th March, I've covered the Great Ocean Road, Mt. Gambier & breakfast with Fireheart, Naracoorte, Flinders Range NP, Yorke & Eyre Peninsulas, met up with Spida, crossed the Nullarbor to Norseman and am now at Lake Douglas, near Kalgoorlie.  The travels are going well and it is a great priviledge to be able to freely do so!  smile

Wow - that far already. Are you going to see wave rock, Esperance,........ I am at Daly Water - once again parked outside a roadhouse where I can get internet access. Not easy to find up the centre. Or radio etc and now my Kindle has died. Oh dear - will have to read on the computer.

 Hi Loki,

If you haven't already done so suggest read Yeoelvens blog (shown under his signature) for his WA leg, well worth the read.

Also, have you seen our WA Get Together in May at Beverley?  If you are in the area (just south/west of where you are now) we'd enjoy seeing you there, see this link;

Bruce Rock has a nice reasonable CP and also a free camp (see Camps book) also if you get the chance see the Tin Horse Highway between Corrigin and Hyden....
