Maybe Esperian (Ziggy) and another guy Wombat (not our regular one-but a nice guy).
And congrats for your 12 month tour - must have a look at your blog. Where next???????

I think Ziggy has headed for Queensland. I was there for a few days and had engine trouble. Had to get towed into Shepparton and Van has been there ever since at the Iveco Dealer. Hope to resume travels in about 2 weeks. Presently staying with friends in Melbourne while repairs are carried out. Ziggy visited me in Shepparton. A really nice guy and we got on well.  He was keen to move into warmer weather so I'm sure he has left Green Lake.

No good re your vehicle BG - but yes Ziggy is a nice guy. Trouble is, he has been going to leave the lake for about a month and a half - hahahahaha!!

Apart from that - how is Melbourne treating you - getting out and about? Staying in a nice part of the area?

Staying at Cranbourne with friends. Re my vehicle, it wouldn't start, so called Iveco in Shepparton and they sent out a Tow truck. Problem was a mouse or rodent had gotten into the timing belt and almost wrecked the engine. Only done 117588 km. Looking at a cost of $5000.00 to $10,000 when the Service Manager suggested this was an accident not my fault or the fault of Iveco. Made an Insurance Claim and it was accepted. Lucky me. Taig Bros. in Shepparton are the Iveco agents and until the extent of the damage was known, they allowed me to stay in the vehicle overnight, supplied water and power, so I was very happy. I will shortly put a recommendation in the appropriate Column on this Forum for Taig Bros. and the Tow Truck Company. Another 2 weeks and I hope to continue my journey...

Unfortunately I wont get away from Cranbourne. My friend here is an owner builder and is taking advantage of my electrical talents, putting up light fittings etc. Hopefully I'll catch up with some GNs when I get back on the road, having only met two at Green Lake.
