Showgrounds turn right at mount larcom if traveling north over the railway crossing just up the road $20 a night
Yes it is open stayed there on 8 th july new caretaker only had been there for 2 weeks very friendly .

Showgrounds were closed for overnight caravan camping on 14 June 2016 when I Stopped by.
Lady there said camping was banned due to some Council regulation problem. I Suspect the caravan park /council lobby.
No idea when it will be open again, although the Mt Larcom show was going ahead on 25-26 june.
And I bet some show people end up camping!
Bit of a pain for me as I needed some power for my batteries and there's not many cheap places for that around this area.
