gypsy Bob
I can honestly say that I have never had anything taken and the only time my vehicle (old station wagon prior to my motorhoming days) was broken in to all they took was my akubra (that hurt a bit, I had loads of place badges all over it and it had a personality all of it's own)
I have basically been on the road full time since Spet. 2011 and part time for several years before.
Don't have a safe although I keep meaning to buy one, don't have a big baddy German Shepherd either.....but the 2 whippets won't let anyone in unless they get at least an hours tummy rubs and by then I should be back from wherever I was!

I take the mobile phone and at least some of my money with me and I am carefull to lock up even if I am just going to the 'loo....someone might steal the whippets

hey gypsy Bob

In 28 years of dragging a caravan around I had one car broken into in my driveway and I had a car stolen, wife had gone out to pick up some stuff before we hooked the caravan up to go away.

Don't leave anything of value in sight, lockup and you should be as safe as you can get..

Oh no, not the whippets. Anything but that. Who's gonna keep your feet warm if not them? LOL
