WA govt have backed down under enormous public backlash and reversed their decision to cut the rebate in Cabinet this morning.

Something similar was going on in Qld. a few months  back.  Lots of rumors going round that the LNP Govt was going to impose a surcharge on Solar connected customers to pay for the cost to upgrade the network to cater for the solar feed in.  Gobbly gook IMHO.

Anyway lots of us complained & they backed off.  I got a long individual looking reply from my local LNP member & later a long detailed general response from the Premier.

All quiet at the moment & I'm still getting my 50c /KWH  ...  Most from the State Govt & a bit from Origin Energy .. my retailer.
