Cleaning fruit

I just received this in an email.

I don't know if it works or not but thought I would share.

Wouldn't the taste of vinegar be on the fruit though?

I'd think that would only apply if you didn't dry the friut, and ate it straight from the liquid.  I might be wrong.

Cheers,

Sheba.

what a great idea, the grapes looked good.

If you had a sinkfull of water and only 1 cup of vinegar there'd be no taste

Could do similar to some of the salad veg also.Just give a shake.

Cheers
Robyn

I've often wondered what they do to the lettuce in those pre-packed/chopped salads to stop it wilting. Does anyone know if the vinegar would work for that too?

Done this for years .

I even keep washing my wife with that solution that's why she still looks 20 years old
