Great to see you can still pull them in. I bet when they get home one of their stories will be about this stately Ausie fellow who took them in and shared their experiences.

Love the yellow outfit John!!!!! Thought you had made the lasagne etc - but still on the jaffles I see!!!!!!!
We are at Point Lowly, near Whyalla - good spot - there is a shower, but I think it is COLD!!!! $5 to stay here - toilets, cold shower, picnic area, and water. Jetty down the hill a bit - probably fit 10 - 12 in here at a pinch. Overcast, cool breeze!!! On our own now - Solo Steve has head to the Eyre Peninsula, and MSG was in Cunamulla yesterday, heading to Quilpie!!

Oh Dougwe - very,very funny!!! Good spot here though - made road all the way - just wish the weather was a bit nicer!!

I met Liane and Anna both German travellers and the other couple Valentine and his girl friend from at Nimbin and were colourful personalities.
The sun came out and we did the shorter walk between the showers but got good shots of the boulders and water falls, we got back and four of us went swimming in the safe location. Already a great day but the best was yet to come, sampling the previous days lasagnia cooked on the open fire and todays risotto as well as the soup and damper cooked in open pans on the open fire. Not forgetting the Jaffles, my humble contribution.
With the rainy conditions I backed the bus out and came in between the fireplace and the table then put up the awning and we crammed in keeping as dry as possible. Another couple in a Hi Lux came in next door with a raised above cabin tent and joined us. Between the two men we had two guitars as well as several types of drums so music was played and enjoyed, we sat round rocking to Bob Dylan and Creedence both favourites of mine.
The next morning was rainy and we all decided to move on, hence me being back at Babinda catching up.

Good to see that you have got it all under control Sandy.

The yellow outfit looks hilarious when I have the hood pulled up and the visor extended, I just couldn't understand why my golfing partners started chirping at me and calling me budgie.

Hi Jules,

on your own again, good for you, company is good but own time is good too.

The last time Billeee was on the Eyre Peninsula was in 2011 with me, I bet he is having a better time now biggrin .

Haven't progressed to lasagne yet but was learning from the others using open saucepans on the brick fireplace.

Warm here but rainy am setting off soon to Youngaburra, have been told that there is plenty to see there.

Catch up with you later, Christmas meet up sounds good.

Jules if you go near Port Pirie in the next week or so we may be able to meet as I am here getting some work done when the parts arrive.
Not sure after that as I may go to the Eyre Peninsular then again it may be Yorke peninsular, GOR or just back to the Murray.
See I am very well organised I know what country I am in.
I just hope we have no disasters this year as I am looking to do some traveling in this great country.

Yep - strange though to look back and not see the two little white vehicles behind us. And yes it is nice being on our own for a while - had a great time with the others though.
