Have been in Mannum by the Murry River lovely spot. Does say FREE camp in book 7, there is a charge of $10 per car a night. In Francis down from Bordertown, this is a free camp at the Oval.
Hmm! Yes when we were there in Sept 2012 it was the fee mentioned on the down stream side of the Ferry, but literally free on the spot on the upstream side of the ferry (both on the east side of the river). The free spot had a time limit though and then period of several months before one could use the spot gain.
