I'm so pleased you have been able to secure a home that you are happy with Dawa... wishing you peace and friendship and comfort. We'll miss you from the forum though, and with so much experience you have plenty to contribute to others. Please don't go altogether?
Dawa, please don't go completely, you will be missed. I have enjoyed your postings and thoughts. Hopefully you will have a steady stream of visitors at your new home. Take care and enjoy.

We will miss you Dawa - pop in now and then, keep in touch. It is a shame it has come to this - but you must do what your heart and your health tell you.
Take care! Jules

Dawa I don't travel all that often and I really enjoy this site so don't stop reading and contributing permanently - you never know you may get out there again. Happy camping
Dawa you're still a GN even if you don't move around, you still have much to offer, we don't need more folk dropping out.
You can share your activities, even if it's only a book...lot's of readers here.
Patchwork, crocheting, knitting, scrapbooking, family history, reading, about the book not what you're reading it on, that can always be another thread, sort of a hobbies spot..... this site doesn't cover everyone...need a SPOT for girlie talk stuff ladies might find
important, but men find uninteresting.
The men, mostly, have techie cnr. which gets too laden with men trying to outdo one another or correct one another, in the end I can't follow so mostly leave it, it's disappointing though as some of the subjects are relevant to me, but they become sooo technical it's
Dawa. From an untraveled nomad please stay with us .Your info has been helpful I am sure to a lot of people. My wife and I have talked to a lot of people on the forum, and made friends of those we have met. Nice folk. As a tapestry person (and yes I knit and crochet.Dont laugh guys). Not all blokes are into techy things and I liked the pictures of your quilting. So there you have it ,Stay with the forum because you will miss the chit chat and we will miss your input. Good luck with whatever you decide..Alan and Adele.
Gotta agree with the others Dawa, who have reminded you that you don't have to be "on the road" to be a member here. I don't get on the road much myself, but like to contribute where I can.
You did meet a couple of nomads Dawa (we just hadn't got to that stage at the time) in Gulgong. Sold the house about six months ago, been full time nomads since. All the best in a long & happy future.

That is why I gave my email so anyone who wanted to can keep in touch.
Yes Happy Wanderer but it's a topic only so it'll disappear. Would be nice to have a site...like Techie's Corner, I digress, Travelling with pets, etc so Pam can put her quilt...that's a W I P then update, and later have show and tell.
I'd love to lob in here and see what someone's been reading, or seen a new bird while walking, somewhere where guys probably would be bored...
Might be a good spot for Dawa to drop in...a girls get together.

Still keep posting Dawa, you can give some advise to fellow travellers. Enjoy your new life and still keep in touch.
Yes Robyn I for one would love to hear about what other women do to while the hours away while camping. I love my quilting and am making a hand sewn quilt that has been half way around Australia, still doing it and one day I will finish it. I also like to knit and scrapbook . There should be a site just for the girly talk and I too love to read all the tech stuff but I know what you mean.
There is a topic called Crafty Ladies. Might be in I Digress. You can also put up photos of your finished projects, comment on others or just write about what you are making.
