Well winners are grinners, but lets hope we can beat them next year, whether the grand final or not !!  cry

The playing behaviour of the Hawks reminded me more of street thugs than good sportsmen. furious

The Hawks fans weren't much better at sportsmanship either.....did you notice how they booed loudly each time the Dockers lined up to kick for the goals trying to put them off.......at least the Docker fans didn't do that when the Hawks were lining up for a kick.

I think the Dockers goal kicking (off target) cost them the game.  When the Hawks did play fairly they were pretty to watch with their passing etc.....

The Dockers fans were very well behaved Mate and you are correct, poor kicking for goal cost Freo the match in my humble opinion.

Can't say I agree with that (Hawks controlling the game from beginning to end) there was only 15 points the difference which equates to two goals and three points, Fremantle kicking accuracy let them down.  Freo played there hearts out and deserved to win also, just not good enough on the day.  IMHO if their goal kicking had been better they would have won.

By the way, I am not an Eagles or Freo supporter, just calling it the way I saw it.

I only watch the semi's and the finals' on TV irrespective of what teams are in them biggrin

I'm neither a Hawks or Freo supporter (Go the Power) I did watch the entire game though and saw no evidence of unduly rough play from either side.

What I did see was a match that the Hawks controlled from beginning to end, Freemantle never once hit the front, the Hawks led from siren to siren, a well deserved win.

When it comes to poor supporter behavior take a look at Freo and WC fans when matches are played in the West, the booing when visiting teams are taking set shots has to be heard to be believed, I doubt you will find a more parochial mob of supporters anywhere.biggrin

Saw on TV tonight (I had seen it during the game) a Docker scratching the face of a Hawk, but then looking at the smug look on the Hawk players face he was doing something to the Docker hidden by their bodies on the ground (squeezing his nuts I suspect) no
