Inkerman is about 10klms sth of Home hill, NQ. Turn past the shop to Wallaces landing, a little creek just down the road. Heaps of room , but no facilities but a drop toilet. Here for the mudcrabs.Am going to check in a minute.I might be a terrorist, but not a tourist.Do terrorists smell like fishermen? Death to all crabs( legal ones.). Will post some pics when I get them. Bill
And here,s the proof. This one was in the second pot I checked. I put them on ice which slows them down and , thenit boiling wwater for 10 or 15 mins. Mudcrab for tea tonight!

Since there is a total fire ban on at the moment, I didn,t think a fire was the way to go. I , also, love roasted crabs, but don,t like fighting bushfires. Got another two big ones this morning. Will pack up about 10am and go to visit my 82yr old uncle in Merinda, nth of Bowen. See ya Soon, Bill
Have just had mud crab for lunch uncle, and still have some over for tea.I don,t want to be cruel, but it was great!. Hve moved to Cape gGlouster, half way from Bowen to the Whitsundays. Was going to Peter Faust dam Barra fishing , but it came in strong winds. At a beautiful spot beside the beach with signs saying $2oo fine for camping in the whitsundays.I'm not camping, I'm fishing..........Will try some lure fishing off the beach, later after afternoon snooze. Will post more pics. Hi Bill, Lived on mud crabs for 2 weeks, supplimented with Barra. Love them either way they are cooked! We use to get the lime off the backs of the green ants just for an added flavour.
I dunno, about 15 inches.I just had a smaller one for tea , and can truly say it was well worth the effort.I bloke in a patrol, with his family, said that the Hideaway bay van park charges $55 a night, and will magnamously drop it to $46 a nt next week. Real nice of them.He was looking for a free camp spot. They have a hide, some of these operaters. Got a strange fish off the rocks in front of the camp. Its called a "frog fish", but looks more like a toad.Willpost shots if it comes out. .See ya soon, Bill

I,m hiding here from the wind, and will go out to Peter Faust dam on Friday when the wind drops. $20 a nt at Camp Kanga. Got one 107cm last year.Another bloke got one 135cm! One can only try..Bill
You'd need a couple of Sydney Morning Heralds to wrap that thing in (with no room for chips).
!!What,!! I didn't notice my fly undone in the pic,??????...Hehehehe ...!!Cindy,!! Im in deep Meditation to see how many hot dogs I have to eat , for redemption......................................Billeeeeeee

Cheers,
Sheba.
!!Sheba,!! are they alive when you put them on the coals, or how do you euthanize them before that,??/ pretty hard to drowned them before ..............Billeeeee
!!Yo billy boy, come to Greens lake , ,,!!Will,!! show you how to catch Atlantic salmon here......stay excited billy boy...............................Billeeeeeee
Camp Kanga is great and facilities are top notch , also. $22 a night with power. Some people had their aircons going.Got one barra of 82cm which I released, and lost a lure to a monster which dragged me into the trees.Catch22-you have to fish the trees to get the barras, and there are some horses in this lake. Will try to post a pic if it comes out. Am now at Clairview, after looking at Rocky dam Creek, which was crawling with drunks from the mines, so moved on the Clairview.Good internet and phone here. Will head further south tmrow, probably to 1770.See ya on the track, Bill.

Don't know about other people Billeeeeeee, but we've always used a wire straight through the eye-socket into the brain to kill them quickly.
Left Workmans beach on sunday and went to Middlecreek, in the Eurimbula nat park, along the definitely 4wd track, slow going towards the end but a nice spot with no backpackers-their cars won,t get thru. Went for a fish, and to my surprise caught fish I regard as reef fish in the expansive estuary. Sweetlips, Cod, Moses perch, fish you would normalcatch on a coral reef.Lovely eating! It was looking like rain , so I went back to Agnes waters. Will head south to the noosa area , whwere my sister live.See you on the road, Bill
