Yep have only just started teaching myself but finding it really rewarding when one is done thats not too disasterous.
This is one i did yesterday, The Path to Nowhere. Its only 6x4 inches.

Kerri, these are very good. As a painter myself, one needs patience and the ability to not get frustrated when a painting is not going your way. Just leave it for a while and go back later......Have you tried Pastels...a great way to blend colours and shades.?

Yep did some pastels years and years ago, also some graphite pencils, but i find painting is easier on my hands which are a bit stuffed from years of being a horse physio. Might give them another go one day.
