Love the angle you have painted the cattle dog, he looks very relaxed and comfy.

All 3 dogs look "real "

May I have the cheek to ask you if this is only a hobby, or do you do it for others as well?

WOW!!! thanks for all of the wonderful comments. I enjoy painting dogs and birds. "Holly's" dad (our youngest son) asked me to paint his cat, I started the painting at the beginning of this year and have not finished it yet, I am finding the cat much more difficult than the dogs were.

I have painted the dogs for family, but I do sell other paintings in our local art gallery.

Unfortunately I can not paint while traveling, too much gear to take and the drying time for oils is too long to deal with in a small space. I crochet or knit while traveling.

I forgot about another dog painting that I did for our grand niece, the first three were for our daughter and one of our sons.

This is "Seesea"

Hi Jaytee = great paintings,
I have just started to paint and travel and also like oils.
I have built for myself a case that I can slide 3 masonite boards into and I can tape canvas to either side of the boards -
this will allow me to travel with the works without them touching each other or getting paint all over the car or van.
I was lucky enough to be able to make this for myself - but maybe these sorts of things are available commercially - or you could get someone to build a similar thing for you - it was a very easy construction. I'll see if I can attach a photo.
cheers
